Wedding Information

A wedding consultation is set up either via email, phone or in person to discuss your upcoming wedding. We will discuss the details as to what you are looking for in your wedding day. We will review and pick out your wedding collection and begin planning your special day regarding the photography aspect. We will share ideas and get to know your personality. We understand that this day is about you!

Wedding Session

Your wedding day will be captured in a photojournalistic style. Your photographs will portray your wedding day moments just as you experienced it. A tender moment shared between the bride and groom, hysterical laughter shared with your bridal party or an emotional journey down the aisle – McKnight Media will capture all of these and more.

Destination Wedding

We consider a wedding outside of 60 miles of Durham, NC 27713, a destination wedding and travel expenses will occur. If your event is within 450 miles we charge $15 for every 50 miles and respectable sleeping accomidations may be required depending on distance to Durham, NC. If your event is over 450 miles we require up to 2 plane tickets from either Raleigh-Durum International Airport (RDU) or Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) and respectable sleeping accomidations throughout the length of the stay.

Proofing

Once your wedding/session is complete, your images will be posted to the website in the PROOFING section within a 1-3 week time frame. Your proofs will be available for 1 year from the time they were uploaded to the Proofing session. You will be given a unique password to view your proofs and are encouraged to give it to family and friends for them to view as well. Here you will be able to view all of the photos from your event and choose your favorites to be edited for package products.

Ordering

Our online shopping cart is hosted by Zenfolio which has a secure server to place your orders for a la cart images which you, family and friends will have access to purchase images seperately.

When placing your choices that are included in your wedding package, you will need to contact McKnight Media with those choices.

Once you place your order with McKnight Media, the average completion time is 1-3 weeks depending on the items in the order. For all prints sized 11×14 and smaller, the completion time is within a week. Video slide show, collages, and coffee table book have a 2 week completion time frame. Canvas and storybooks have a 3 week completion timeframe. *depending on schedule, these times may vary.

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due at the siging of the contract. The remainder of the fee is due on or before the wedding date.

Base & All Day Coverage

Base day coverage includes 30 minutes before the bride puts on her wedding dress and up to 2 hours of the reception. All Day Coverage begins when the bride begins to get makeup/hair done till the Bride & Groom leave the reception and pull away.
